Since I am a computer teacher in the Philippines, I really enjoy the benefits in using technology in the class. I was able to check all of my student’s files in our yahoo group account. Also, my students can see each other’s file and enjoy each other’s animation activity.

I really do believe that there is a strong place for technology. It can help group members collaborate without having to set up meeting times. It can help to facilitate lessons, projects and much more. It truly is where our future is going. I really enjoyed learning about some of these tools in your class discussion. Some disadvantages happen when we can't get it to work properly. I guess we should have a back up plan just in case. The students who have internet connection find it very convenient but unfortunately, not all have internet access and even have their own computers. So, apparently, I went back to the conventional method of sharing my files with the use of the good'll photocopy machines. In retrospect, I think that, our school's technology infrastructure was not robust enough to support my alternative method. Perhaps, technology is helpful only if the fundamentals (such as internet connectivity, ease of access, student support -manuals, etc.) are properly in place.
