He wasn’t harming anyone he was trying to figure out how his senses work. For him was sad because he was alone in the forest learning how to live. This is here to explain how he was feeling and the things that he was doing by his own because Victor run away from his responsibility. The monster only wants love and a father figure, but Victor didn’t help.
