We are assuming every word of dialogue that isn't coming from the main protagonist. We see the emotional affect this dialogue is having on her and we hear her response but we cannot hear what is being said because of this we are assuming how the conversation is going and we are assuming their emotional reaction as well. Using the Iceberg approach an idea could be that the short film shows Peter Parker sitting on his couch watching the news. In the background you can see the Spider-man suit in his trash bin. The news is going on about crime thats been happening recently in NYC and peter looks over to the suit briefly but then turns back to the tv. His phone starts ringing and he answers and finds out the news about his loved one Mary Jane, that she has been captured.
