Similar themes play across these two books and give readers a new perspective to consider. Written by Frederick Douglass himself makes for an impressive view of his character. Genius mathematician and sufferer of schizophrenia. Nash overcame his mental disorder and won a Nobel Prize. This biography compellingly told of his life, struggles and gave perspectives of many who knew him as well as keeping his own voice heard. All the mathematics and economic terms kept me on my feet while reading. I highly recommend. It's a mystery so I won't spoil it's ending but the spectacular Mr. Holmes makes this worth reading. It was a good continuation, delving deeper into the political sphere of this fictional world. I enjoyed the complexity of characters relationships. That classic love triangle and competition among the girls vying to be queen.

I loved and hated the catharsis Kiera Cass put me through as a reader. I absolutely loved the resolution of stories, a fairy tale with some bittersweetness as well. I would highly recommend this series but am loyal to this story and this story only.

While reading I was reminded of my middle school self reading a romance novel. I did like it but feel that it is below my reading level. That doesn't mean it wasn't good, just that I became bored with the story line and lack of complexity. It was trying its best and my younger sister would thoroughly enjoy this story.

Both long and short, complex and simple. I enjoyed the collection in its variety. I devoted time to reading poems that captured my attention more than one glance over. I would notice the rhyme scheme and overall purpose of the author in specific poems.
