OMG, I would watch The Wizard of Oz every Christmas day until my Nan bought me the DVD when I turned 9. I literally wanted to be Dorothy... Still do now... I wonder what my life would be like over the rainbow.

Lambeth hospital gave us this toy when I had Tommy.
It's so special as it's our first memory together. Spot still smells like Tommy now because he literally never goes a day without having cuddles with Spot.

My gorgeous Nan gave me this necklace on my 18th birthday (a year after Tom was born).
It means everything to me... It remind to always look and keep moving forward.
My Nan died 2 years ago. It felt like I lost my closest friend. I miss her so much, she just knew how to fix everything. Could really do with her wisdom words right now.

My Mum and Dad were young when they had me, so my Nan would look after me most days .
I loved my Nan, she was my best friend. She was a beacon of support for me when I fell pregnant with Tommy (She was with me the whole time!)
When she passed away in 2018, it hit me hard... I don't think I've properly grieved her yet... She was my closest ally.

The love of my life.

This is Tommy with his smartest clothes on, ready to go to Pizza Hut for his 5th birthday.
I want to provide the best life I can for Tommy.
I see the teenage boys around my area involved in gangs, drugs and knife crime and DO NOT want Tommy to end up like this.
I'm willing to do anything for Tommy, so first I need to get a good job and then GET OUT of West Dulwich.

Suzie and me have been best friends since we were in Year 9.
Suzie was there for me when Tommy was born and continued to support me after.
Sadly , Suzie moved to Liverpool 3 years ago to train as a primary school teacher.
We try to stay in touch as much as possible, but life often gets in the way. She's still my girl though!

My Mum gave me this on my 10th birthday.
I remember drinking hot chocolate out of it whenever I was ill.
When I left home after I found out I was pregnant, I took it with me.
I still drink from it now when I'm feeling down or in need of some TLC.
Me and Mum are still on pretty rocky roads, but there's still something about this mug that makes me feel safe... Weird right?

I left school at 16 and fell pregnant in the first month of college, so had to drop out before the course had really even started
My highest qualification is GCSE - so I'm finding there's massive limitations on the types of jobs I can apply to.

I'm currently on a sanction for 2 weeks because I couldn't make my job centre meeting as it clashed with Thomas' school pick up time... But do they ever listen? Or treat me like a fucking human being? No.

Late rent notice

Since being put on sanction, I've been unable to meet this month's rent.
My landlord has increased the rent twice since January 2019.
If I'm honest, I'm at risk of losing my flat, which would be a NIGHTMARE

Last year I took Tommy to my regular salon to have a hair cut. The hairdresser announced (in front of the whole shop) that Tommy had nits.
I felt humiliated because there were a few of the school mum's there too.
I often feel like I have to prove to people that I am a good mum because I'm younger.
I had no idea he had nits as he never scratched his head!! I just felt like a failure.

Tommy has asthma and eczema, so when he was a baby he was quite poorly.
I've got so many scary memories of his temperature being 40+ degrees, and having to take him to out of hours at the hospital.
I want Tommy to be safe, so its always a bit of a worry when this thing comes out again.
