Describe a story of your choice (can be one we read in class or one of your favorite stories from home). Describe the significant events in the story from beginning to end. Include a your own definition for a moral, and include a description of the moral of the story you chose to write about. If you have any questions about finding the moral or are still struggling, include that in your post and I will address your concerns in my response!

A moral is an overall lesson that can be taken away from a story. The Boy Who Cried Wolf is about a boy who gets very bored in a small village that raises sheep and pretends that a wolf is coming, when in reality there is no wolf. The story begins with the boy lying and crying wolf to the town. The townspeople grab everything and run to the top of the hill and realize they have been tricked. The villagers were not happy about this and decided not to believe the boy when he continued to say that there was a wolf coming. Later in the story, the boy hears a howl and sees a wolf appear before him. The boy cries wold, but is ignored by the townspeople because he lied so many times in the past. The wolf got to the town and all of the sheep ran away. The boy was left sad and lonely. The moral of The Boy Who Cried Wolf is that people will never be able to if you are being truthful when you lie often.
