From November of 1977 to February of 1978 there were no Portulaca seeds on Daphne They could not eat the only food source left so they died. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>With the small beaks dying off the bigger beaks had to continue to reproduce to keep the population from completely dying. When reproducing the big beaks are unlikely to have a small beaked offspring. Now since the small beak have died off there is a very, very small chance of them coming back unless small beaks from other islands migrate to Daphne Major. Which would give them a chance to reproduce and bring the small beaks back.</div>]]></description>
