Causes of endangerment: Sei whale has been hunted by humans since the 1860s, 50 sei whales are killed annually by Japanese whalers in the North Pacific under Japan's "scientific" whaling program. Also the climate change and the pollution afects them. The phantom nets, the nets of the fishing boats that fell to the sea, also kills them.

Interesting Facts: They are one of the most wheigh animals with 20 tones. They length 45-66 feet. They are one of the fastest animals reaching the 30 miles per hour.
