I travelled to Bombas. Which is a tropical city located in Santa Catarina. It has a beautiful beach with white sand. The water is crystal clear and you can do any type of watersport activities. The weather is wonderful. Sometimes it can change but you can go shopping or do other activities.  

It was one of my favorite trips I have ever had. We went with my friend’s family. We went by car. It was a long trip and we had to do a stopover in Laguna.  We spent 15 days in Bombas. The families, especially the moms, decided to rent an apartment in Bombas. Which it was fully- furnished and the balcony had an amazing beach view. I remember the rooms were spacious. It was the best option for us to rent a flat because this city wasn’t well known in those days. There weren’t too many places for accommodation. 

From the day we arrived at the city, it was raining. But then the sun came up in the afternoon. This gave us the chance to go to the supermarket and buy some food. The following days were amazing! 

We bought a lot of stuff because they were very cheap in Bombas. We learned about the place and their culture. My friend and I made some friends there. I learned to speak some Portuguese. I got sunburned (haha). I learned to surf. As we had had a car we could travel to other places like Bombinhas and Camboriu. I experienced some Brazilian food like camarao and coxinhas.  Also, I had the opportunity to travel by a Bondindinho. 

Finally, I would like to recommend traveling to Bombas. Because a is beautiful place that has breathtaking views. Also, it is a place where you can relax and have fun!

Last year I went to Basavilbaso's hot springs with my mom and her friends. The place was large and had five pools, (one of those pools was for children) the children's pool had slides and was the smallest of the place. We went for a weekend break, we travelled on Saturday's morning and we came back on Sunday's afternoon. We arrived and we went to eat and something funny happened, we sat down to eat in a kiosk that offered very expensive food, we decided to share among us the little food that we could buy and when we finished eating we looked to our right and we saw a huge restaurant. 
Then we went to the pools and we stayed there all afternoon. At night we went to dinner and we went back to our bedsits. The next day we got up early and we went to Crespo, we were walking for a while and then we went back to Paraná.

For the first time my family and I went to Europe in a tour that lasted one month. We took a plane in Buenos Aires, we made a stopover in New York for one day and we landed in Madrid. Our trip started in Spain and then continue to Italy, Austria, Germany, France, Great Britain, Belgium and Holland. After that we went back to Spain. 

I fell in love with all European cities because it is hard to choose only one best place. All the cities were clean with big monuments surrounded by flowers and water fountains.  These monuments were really pieces of art in the middle of the street. They were made of marble and gold metal with statues and ornaments.  We visited many famous monuments like Eiffel tower, The Colosseum, The Roman Ruins and The Big Ben. 

The trip was different to the common summer holidays on the beach. We got up very early and we travel to the next city. We walked a lot and we took some excursions to some important places. In the most known cities we spent two or three days and in the others we did a day trip.  I really recommend this kind of journey because is a new way to know different places, people and culture too!

Although it's not exactly abroad or far away, it holds a special place for me as it was the first time I actually travelled "outside of my safe zone".
We arrived there saturday morning and spent the day getting to know the area and doing some shopping while at it. 
On sunday, my mom and brothers went their own way so as to explore more about the city. My dad (a big fan of car racing and such) took me to a fan meeting organized by some of the racing teams. This was probably my first time interacting with a native english speaker, as pretty much everyone was from the U.S.A. My dad wanted to communicate with some of the staff but we had to make do with the little that I knew. 
On monday we just wanted to walk as much as we could throughout the city as a way of biding farewell. Night time we made our way back to the bus station and next day we were back home.
In the big scheme of things, it was more or less your run-of-the-mill trip, but it opened me to a world I didn't know as the little kid I was.
Sadly, since it was too long ago, any photos of that trip (if there were any to begin with) are probably gone.]]> 2018-09-12 23:45:27 UTC https://padlet.com/gyugdar/placesComA2018/wish/280605651 A special place lgalliussi10 https://padlet.com/gyugdar/placesComA2018/wish/280642994 A few years ago on summer holidays, a friend and I went to a place that does not have a name but we usually call it "La Balsa", it is near Villa Urquiza, Entre Ríos. It is a long deep narrow gully worn by a stream crowded of tall trees, really beautiful and calm. We went by motorbike on a day trip, but instead, that day we did some crazy outdoor activities. 
When we get there in the morning, the first thing we realized was that into the water we could see the fish swimming in circles near the shore, so, as fast as we could we took off our shoes and got into the water to try to catch them with our bare hands. Anyway, it was impossible, we got tired and we sat to chill out and drank mate. 
After a few hours it was almost noon, and the weather was hot as Hades. Because of the heat my friend has the most reckless idea: he told me that we should jump from the ravine, and I said “OF COURSE”. So, that was what we did all the afternoon, going down and up over and over again. I was really afraid the first time, but the adrenaline made me felt really good, luckily none of us got hurt that time.  
Finally, in the evening we just talked and watched the crepuscular rays illuminating the lake. At that moment we felt as real friends, and I think that after that day we became best friends. Sometimes we go back to that place to do everything again. 
I have just one picture and some videos of that day, I will post just our dirty feet.

When I was 18 years old my father invited me to travel with him to the city of Punta del Este in Uruguay. I never enjoyed travelling with him, mostly because we have different opinions on a lot of stuff, so we never had things in common to talk about.
We started the journey rather well, we had like eight hours of travel and we spent them all talking , laughing and listening to music. It was the first time we had been talking for so much time without arguing with each other.
When we arrived at our rented house I knew the long way there was worth the trip. It was an old rustic house, with sliding doors and hawaiian swings on the front. When we went inside we found gorgeous tropical decorations covering the bedrooms and the living room. The house also had air conditioners so we could endure the hot weather.
We spent the whole week we stayed there going to the beach during the day; at night we explored the city and visited local attractions such as the casino and the stone hand.
Punta del Este holds a special place in my heart because of all the memories I have with my father there. The fact that the city and the house were beautiful and gorgeous-looking made the trip ten times better.

The trip had the intention of teach us about animals and autochthonous species of Argentina. The time we spended traveling there wasn´t too long, and when we arrived to Buenos Aires  the natural reserve was huge, a couple of guides were waiting for us and after divide us in groups we started the tour. The first thing you could saw was a big lake and lotes of flamingos, the water was really hot and the vapor was coming from there. After that we entered to a building with glass walls and you could saw a wide variety of tropical birds, but the bats were really big and scary-looking, their habitat was really hot and they were eating fruits. When we passed that buiding we went down for a corridor and  there were hipopotamus in on side and just in front of them was a six meters crocodile, it was really scary, but then we entered to the acuarium  the sharks were even more. finally we went out and saw zebras, monkeys, cute penguins,more birds,etc. My favouriteS were the white tiger and the cougar, so i bought a white tiger plush in the souvenir store.
