The monument was designed by the London-based firm Ian Ritchie Architects.

They are a breed of seabirds found in Ireland, Scotland, and more regions of Northern Europe.

They have a wingspan of 47cm-63cm and they can reach about 20cm in height.

The Cliffs are a special conservation interest for holding an assemblage of over 30,000 breeding seabirds like the puffins.

The Cliffs of Moher puffin is a member of the Auk family which winters at sea and returns to shore for the nesting season from late May to mid July.

The best time to view the puffins along the Cliffs is between May and June.
