  • The recommended dose of ZOTIDE is 750 mcg containing Teriparatide to be administered once daily by subcutaneous injection in the thigh or abdomen. 
  • It is important that ZOTIDE  be used exactly as prescribed by your doctor. If you forget or are unable to use this medication at your usual time, skip the missed dose and continue with your usual dosing schedule. Do not inject a double dose to make up for a missed one.

Any Drug Special Care?      

TERIPARATIDE may cause an increase in the amount of calcium in your blood. Tell your doctor if you have continuing nausea, vomiting, constipation, low energy, or muscle weakness. These may be signs there is too much calcium in your blood. TERIPARATIDE may cause an increase in the amount of calcium in your urine. You should tell your doctor if you suffer from kidney stones or have a history of kidney stones.
