Reference: Makeup artist from Instagram
Problem(s): Indian ink is hard to control, therefore it can be hard to get it to stay where I want it to (it bleeds). The blotch on her left cheek was darker than it was supposed to be, so I had to add a white wash to get it to be the correct shade.
Quote: “Walking through darkness with thoughts full of colors."
Media: Ink (stipple) and Indian ink.

Red String of Fate

Reference: Photo shoot of singers
Problem(s): I haven't shaded a whole image in pencil in awhile, so it started out kind of rough. I struggled with their faces because of the angles, especially with the noses. I also struggled with the hand on the left guy's face. I chose to use watercolor pencils for the background, so it is somewhat streaky (but let's go with that was intentional).
Quote: N/A, based off the red string theory.
Media: Pencil and watercolor pencil

Take Your Pills

Reference: Model on Instagram
Problem(s): I struggled with having a symmetrical face, and having even eyes (it was too late to fix it when I noticed). I also accidentally drew the nose a little too straight on for her tilted face. The ink also smeared on her freckles so I did my best to fix that (ended up using fabric paint because I couldn't find my white ink pen), so there are some smears on her face and around the border from where I tried to conceal the smears.
Quote: N/A, based off the title of a Netflix documentary called "Take Your Pills"
Media: Ink (stipple), marker and fabric paint.
