The meeting of the opening of the audit was carried out, with the purpose of socializing the objectives and the scope that would be had for each of the items to be evaluated, in which the audit team strategically asked questions with respect to each one of the numerals of the NTC ISO 14001: 2015 standard. The methodology developed and implemented for the identification and assessment of Environmental Aspects and Impacts is highlighted as a strength, with the University's own staff, with a high level of expertise, involving deep concepts of statistical tools, criteria, which has allowed the University to identification and very complete assessment taking into account the multiplicity of factors due to the diversity of activities that take place in it. The ability to comply with the applicable legal or regulatory requirements in the scope of the management system was verified, established through its identification, compliance planning, implementation and verification by UNAD of its compliance. The audit team handled the information provided by the UNAD confidentially, before and during the audit process. Once the audit was executed in accordance with the provisions of the audit plan, the objectives of the audit were met. The entity Universidad Nacional Abierta y Distancia, Headquarters José Celestino Mutis, has an Environmental Management System that is currently applied and generally complies with the requirements specified in NTC ISO 14001. The reasons for this statement are listed below . The Environmental Management System of the company is duly defined and documented its scope, as well as its objectives, environmental policies and personnel with specific roles and functions to comply with its correct execution. This could be evidenced through the documents Manual of the Integrated Management System (M-1), Manual of the Component of Environmental Management (M-2) and the Manual of the Management System of Health and Safety at Work (M-3). ). In turn, the entity identifies the environmental aspects and impacts that derive from its activities, products and services, through a specific methodology. The evidence was observed through the document Matriz Aspectos e Impactos Ambientales (F-1-4-5), which includes identification by processes, activities and services offered at the José Celestino Mutis Headquarters. The audited headquarters has a legal framework for the implementation and compliance with the regulatory requirements related to the Environmental Management System, which is reviewed and checked periodically. Said information is verified through the verification of the Matrix Format for the Identification and Evaluation of Legal Requirements and Other Requirements in Health and Safety at Work (F-5-6-36). A correct application of the PHVA (Plan - Make - Verify - Act) approach to the Environmental Management System is evidenced, within each specific process and activity developed, through the review of the documentation, the scope and the results set out in the document Manual of the Environmental Management System (M-1), Variable Control Format and Base Indicators in Environmental Management by Center (F-1-4-32). Likewise, this document allowed to verify the achievement of the objectives and the execution of the activities proposed by the organization for the plans derived from the Environmental Management Plan, through the Instructions for the Formulation, Monitoring and Measurement of Action Plans of Environmental Management (I-1-4- 5). The organization has a plan for the attention and response to events arising from accidents and environmental incidents, the evidence could be corroborated through the tour conducted during the on-site audit and the document Instruction on Care and Response to Environmental Emergencies (I -1-4-1); It also has the Format to Determine the Steps of Attention to Environmental Emergencies by Headquarters (F-1-4-23), which includes the steps to follow to address emergencies and contingencies in the audited headquarters.
