Even though unemployment rate has hit a new low of 4.5%, the hiring slowed drastically in month of march as compared to month of February.

Most of the job openings come from the medical and manufacturing sector. These jobs tend to have good pay and benefits.

On the other hand, the weak spot in economy now is retail. This might be due to the fact that online shopping is becoming increasingly popular, thus causing traditional stores to close down due to lack of business which in turn leads to more jobs being removed from the retail sector.

Regarding the paychecks, generally wages are increasing for supervisors and higher-ups while the workers themselves rarely get a pay raise.

In conclusion, for the USA's economy, their unemployment rate is on a decreasing trend meaning more people are getting employed and there are lesser people being unemployed. USA currently has a unemployment rate of 4.5% which is close to full employment .

 America was facing recession
. They are facing a 0.7% growth rate in economy in comparison to the 2.5% growth rate during President Obama's final three months.

The GDP of the country is facing a recession, however, the economy of the country will start to recover slowly, with a "U" shape recovery. This is mainly due to the decrease in unemployment, which will help to make the country prosper again as more citizens will be working, which increases efficiency and more income for America.
The white house believe that the drop in the growth rate is due to the season, (which cannot be verified as the president works in the white house) therefore we cannot conclude the future of America's economy under Trump just based off his first quarter.

Ever since President Trump took over, the investments from other businesses has dropped drastically. "0.7 percent annual growth rate for the period is far below the 2.5 percent pace in President Barack Obama’s final three months in office" - this shows that growth rate has decreased a lot, affecting the country's revenue. A drop in the annual income growth rate can cause nominal GDP to drop as well.

Foreign investments play a huge role in the economic growth as they contribute to the net exports and imports from other countries.

it was also said that "businesses invested at a healthy pace — but that was not enough.."
GDP includes expenditure by businesses, in the form of investments. Through this, it is shown that there was little or no help of investments with the economic growth, hence contributed to the drop in nominal GDP.
