I have found a good subtitles generator for videos on YouTube and Netflix for all the languages. It is called Language Reactor and it is an extension for Chrome (here) and Edge (here). It also generates lists of words that can be used for flashcards. It has a chatbot for listening and writing practice (you can have short conversations on different topics with the bot). The audio quality and the voice of the AI is very good and sounds very real. It has more features, but you must pay a subscription for them. But the free version does enough to be a good tool for us, language instructors. If you need help with installing it, please let me know, I can come and help you with it. Anca P., Romanian Instructor (room 13-31)

I have found another very interesting resource called VocabBoost and it is an extension for Chrome here or Edge here. You can use it to make a language test (fill-in-the box/cloze type) out of any text on any website. You can select the text and then click “make a test” and the text appears with fill-in-the-blanks boxes. In can also give the possibility to see the answers. You should try it! If you need help installing it, please let me know, I can come and help you with it. Anca P., Romanian Instructor (room 13-31)

This website, YouGlish is amazing for searching videos as authentic materials for listening practice. Students can practice words and expressions and learn how to pronounce tricky sounds like a native, learning the language in context. It doesn’t work with some languages, though.
