These activities will allow me to be clear on what mistakes I cannot make this year that will affect my FMP, and also will allow me to develop my photography skills that I may use in my FMP

 Doing the workshop and photography task is important for my FMP because it allows me to understand what mistakes I cannot make this year, and will also give me a better insight into photography and storytelling.

 One thing I have learnt is that research is important for my FMP, which is what some students lacked in last year’s FMP, and also that stories can be told in simply an image.

 I will apply my skills for the future of this project to become more aware of the possible mistakes that I could have made during this project, and to make my product look as professional as possible.

 
This activity will allow me to be aware of what I need to be responsible for when working on my project. Without doing this, I may not understand what I have to do to carry out this project efficiently.

 Doing this mind map is important for my FMP because I will be more aware of what I am able to create, and the limits I can reach throughout this project. Without doing this, I would not be as aware of the limits I may face during my FMP, causing me to not follow the instructions given to us in the assignment brief, therefore failing my FMP.

 One thing I have learnt is the efficiency of a mind map. Without it, I would not be able to clearly brainstorm ideas that I may want to carry out for my FMP, and also won’t be able to visually represent the limits to this project.

 I will apply my skills for the future of this project to become more organized throughout the project, which will ensure that I won’t miss deadlines or not follow instructions.

 
 This activity will allow me to give a clear presentation to Leila, assist me wile presenting my pitch, and also make myself more clear and aware of what I want to achieve for my FMP. This will be helpful and I will be able to visually see what I want to cover in my FMP, making sure I don’t miss out on anything and the end product will be good quality.

 Doing this mood board is important for my FMP because it will make my purpose for my FMP to be clear to Leila, and allow me to put my ideas across efficiently by visually showing what I am doing, what I will be covering, how I will do it.

 One thing I have learnt is the efficiency of a mood board. It allows me to plan brief and easily what I am going to achieve in my FMP, which will then give me a clear path to follow for the rest of my FMP

 I will apply my skills for the future of this project to let me plan things in more detail later on in my FMP, to give me and others a clear understanding of my plan for my FMP.

 
 These activities will improve my self-assessment and developing skills, allowing me to work as efficiently as possible throughout this project.

 Doing this self-assessment is important for my FMP because it will allow me to be aware of anything that may go wrong during my FMP because of my weaknesses. Being able to know what my weaknesses are will allow me to act upon them during this project, in order to create the best possible end product.

 One thing I have learnt is the importance of self-assessing. Being aware of what you are good and bad at is important as you can use what you are good at to your advantage, and what you are bad at will allow you to evolve and improve.

 I will apply my self-assessing skills for the future of this project to allow me to work as efficiently as possible throughout.

 Doing this production schedule is important for my FMP because I need to stay on or ahead of schedule at all times, and be aware of what I have completed and what I haven’t, in order to meet the deadline on time, and to be able to get as much information for my project as I can. Without it, I would feel a lot more pressure and stress during this project, and I will be unaware of many things I have to do for my project, in order for me to produce the best work I possibly can.

 One thing I have learnt is the importance of a production schedule. As I have not been using a production schedule much in past projects, this will be an essential part of my project to make sure I am organised. I have also learnt how important it is to use my time as efficiently as possible in order to meet the deadline.

 I will apply my new organisation skills for the future of this project, as it will keep me on track and focused throughout the project, to produce a good quality final product.

 
 Doing this is important because it is the next step into the end result of my video. Editing is important because it is putting all the clips I have so far together. The interview with Harry is important because he is a key contributor to the video, as he will be shown in the video giving hi thoughts and opinions on David Bowie.

 One thing I have learnt is that being prepared and making sure all your equipment is working correctly when filming. When I came to filming with Harry, I had discovered that there was a missing base plate for my tripod. However, I had luckily had a tripod at home that I could use, so I managed to get that equipment to location and use this as an alternative. I must always make sure that the equipment I have is properly working and has all the pieces I need.

 I will apply my skills for the future of this project to ensure that the video is professional and entertaining for my audience, as it will not be engaging watching poorly shot clips, and boring content. I feel that the response I received from Harry and Peter were both very useful and exactly what I had hoped for.

 

This activity will make my video look more professional, and add the feeling of this video being quite slow paced and relaxed throughout.

 
 Doing this is important because it is a key element in my video. I will be using it to fill in the gaps and keep my audience engaged when interviewing Peter and Harry, and I feel it also relates to the video as it shows general areas, telling the audience that David Bowie affected a lot of general people.

 One thing I have learnt is that being prepared and making sure all your equipment is working correctly when filming. I had trouble with my tripod, as the horizontal head of the tripod was loose and wobbly, therefore making it fairly difficult for vertical panning shots.

 I will apply my skills for the future of this project to film to make the video look professional and entertaining for my audience, as it will not be engaging watching poorly shot clips.

 
 Doing this is important because I can now move onto doing some focus groups and getting some feedback about my video.

 One thing I have learnt is that working efficiently and not getting distracted is important because you focus on your quality of work and it will portray how your final product is by your behavior to working.

 I will apply my skills for the future of this project to make more videos in future projects, continuing to learn new skills and improve my abilities in editing overall.

 
 Doing this is important because I have reacted from what feedback I received from my peers, and I have improved my video to make it more engaging and entertaining to a wider audience.

 One thing I have learnt is that focus groups are essential to your video project, as it gives you very useful feedback, about what was good and bad about your video. Everything that is bad in your video is good because it can be changed to make sure the video is the best quality if can be, therefore making focus groups important.

 I will apply my skills for the future of this project to improve in every video I create. Receiving feedback and reacting upon it is essential in my project, and has helped to create a better version of my FMP.

 
 Doing this is important because I have reacted from what feedback I received from my peers, and I have improved my video even more to make it more engaging and entertaining to a wider audience. Also, doing my evaluation summaries the whole project from start to finish, which is useful for and more my examiner as they will be able to assess my progress during my project.

 One thing I have learnt is that focus groups are essential to your video project, as it gives you very useful feedback, about what was good and bad about your video. Everything that is bad in your video is good because it can be changed to make sure the video is the best quality if can be, therefore making focus groups important. Also, I have learnt things that I done the first time in my video, that I should bear in mind for other projects too, improving my film making skills and overall quality of work.

 I will apply my skills for the future of this project to improve in every video I create. Receiving feedback and reacting upon it is essential in my project, and has helped to create a better version of my FMP. I will also remember what feedback I have received, and keep it in mind for future projects also. Furthermore, I will also apply my skills talking in detail about the project process in future tasks also.

 
 Doing this is important because I have managed to finish my project before the deadline, therefore giving me more time to make any improvements I wish to make in my project before the final deadline.

 One thing I have learnt is time managing is essential, because I now have plenty of time to make any changes if I wish to, because I have finished before the deadline and I have lots of options as to what I will do next.

 I will apply my skills for the future of this project to finish all my work efficiently and to a high standard, and make sure that my time management is still the best it can be if I want to make any changes.

 Doing the research analysis is important because it summaries and shows all the research I done completed for my FMP, and giving plenty of information about each individual piece of research I had carried out, showing what I have done overall for research into my project.

 One thing I have learnt is that research is important for my FMP, and I must show it as clearly as possible in my summary, in order for the examiner to know, and for me to know what I have covered, allowing my video to be the best quality it can be.

 I will apply my skills for the future of this project to have more knowledge of David Bowie for my project, therefore appealing to a wider audience and making my video look professional.
