I was blessed with the opportunity to earn my associates degree from the Ocean Research College Academy (ORCA) located in Everett, which gave me a deep appreciation of the environment with the added bonus of being able to breathe in crisp sea air every school morning. To this day, the ocean and environment is a part of my education that I hold very dear. Currently, I’m attending Western Washington University and working on completing my major in behavioral neuroscience and my minors in spanish and honors interdisciplinary studies. After earning my bachelors, my goal is to become a physician assistant that specializes in neurology!

My father was dying of pancreatic cancer. My family was concerned for my future. They did not think my career in baking would sustain me.
