         <title>PROCEDURE-WHAT THE CLASS DID</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>First, saturate the plant with water the day/night before beginning your investigation. Second, remove the plant from the soil/pot retaining as much of the root system as possible. Wrap each root of each separate plant in a plastic bag, tying the ends as tight as possible. Place each plant in a certain location to be affected by a certain factor. Our class had a natural factor, a wind factor, a light factor, and a humidity factor.&nbsp;Leave the plants in their controlled environments for sex days. Measure the mass of each plant every day in order to acquire data to test your hypothesis.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1) My initial hypothesis that the factor of light will effect the plants' rate of transpiration more than the humidity factor, wind factor, and original factor was correct and supported by our class' collected data.<br>2) Challenges that persisted in our investigation included remembering to weigh our plants everyday, and making sure each plant was placed in their controlled environment correctly. </div>]]></description>

         <title>ANALYZING RESULTS</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1) The rate of transpiration for our class' plants was increased by the controlled factor of light. Compared to the natural control, light effected the rate of transpiration by increasing it more than the natural control.<br>2) A way to effectively communicate our lab's data to other lab groups would be through a line graph. By comparing results and conclusions, we are able to see how plant transpiration is effected by temperature, amount of darkness which causes photoperiodism, and amount of oxygen taken in.&nbsp;<br>3) The factor of light resulted in the greatest rate of water loss through transpiration because light caused a source of heat which caused the plant to sweat more resulting in a decrease in mass over the period of six days. </div>]]></description>
