In 2016, I had the opportunity to work as a Skills and Development officer in a private archery company. Prior to working there, I had absolutely no/zero/nonexistant experience with archery at all, and I've never even hold a bow before. My job was basically to supervise archery instructors while assigning them their schedules for a specific client at a given time and number of participants.

Even though it was just for 5 months, and I basically worked for 50 hours a week and it was tiring, physically and mentally but I've learned quite a bit and benefited alot more.

http://maliba-lodge.com/blanketwrap/2015/off-the-beaten-path/top-10-health-benefits-of-archery/

Which is why I absolutely agree with this article for the field job. It basically improves your hand to eye coordination, better muscle development for the core, hands and arns, better focus and so much more.

And drawing a bow for half an hour burns off 140 calories, which is the same if you were to brisk walk at a 3.5mph pace (or 5.6km/h). So it's not just standing around and shooting arrows, hitting nothing like a Stormtrooper in Star Wars.

And after some time, your aim will be closer to the bullseye,if you practice day by day. And one day, you'll hit the bullseye without even trying to. And you'll feel like flying, like that weight of the world on your shoulders magically disappears, all for just a while. That's relieving stress if you're too lazy to read the whole caboodle :(

On a religious view, archery is also one of the 3 sunnah(highly encouraged) sports in Islam, besides swimming and horse riding. Which is why nowadays the demand for archery classes and tutoring are increasing for Malays especially.

So conclusion, learn archery. Shoot arrow. Hit arrow. And maybe polish up a bit on your sweet talking skills, and voila. You're now a bona fide certified cupid and can intentionally miss some arrows to hit on your crush. Ookayy, don't mind my wild imagination of daydreaming flying unicorns and rainbow leprechauns.

Thanks for reading, and see you soon!

-HSH-
