misstog planeten för en stjärna. Den tyska

Johann Gottfried Galler upptäckte planeten 

år 1846 med hjälp av beräkningar av Uranus 

omloppsbana, eftersom man ansåg att någon

annan planet påverkade Uranus gravitation.
