    • Existing policies, Guidelines, SOPs  requiring change/harmonisation
  2. Program Redesign
    • The holistic, balanced and entrepreneurial program curriculum redesigning. Aim, PEOs, PLOs, Curriculum Mapping/Matrix
  3. Course Redesign:
    • The holistic, balanced and entrepreneurial course redesign in crafting the course learning outcomes (CLOs) that support the promised MQF Learning Outcomes Domains (MQF LODs)
    • The constructively aligned learning and teaching activities that incorporate 21st Century evidence-based teaching practices
    • The aligned assessment instruments where learners can demonstrate how well they achieved the CLOs (the reading registered on a valid and reliable instrument)
  4. Reporting the  holistic attainment of learners via the spider web
    • Migrating from MOHE LODs and professional body LODs to MQF LODs

Each parallel workshop session shall proceed with four themes:
  1. Redesigning an academic program that fulfills COPPA, 
  2. Redesigning courses that is constructively aligned
  3. Designing Program Assessment Plan
  4. Generating Students MQF LOD profile via the spider radar. 

Depending on d enrollment, we may have more than 1 parallel sessions because each workshop can only accommodate 30 participants. Each theme shall be facilitated by 2/3 facilitators.


Takeaway/Outcomes

Theme 1. Redesigning Academic Program 
  1. Crafting Aim, PEOs n PLOs
  2. Generate mapping ie how each course support the MQF LODs development

Theme 2. Redesigning Program Courses: ie CLOs n CATs/Assessment Plan.
  1. Crafting Aligned (to Promised LODs) SMART CLOs.
  2. Assign significance of each CLO development thru the proportion/weightage for each CLO
  3. Determine aligned Assessment Instruments for each CLO
  4. Determine constructively aligned 21st Century Learning n Teaching Activities.
  5. Calculate the SLTs for each CLO

Theme 3. Assess Attainment of PLOs
  1. Choose Direct n Indirect Assessment Instruments/Indicators for each PLO
  2. Decide on Performance criteria for d PLOs
  3. Decide on Performance Target for each PLO attainment
  4. The first 2 topics are the pillar of the wkshp. I see the 2nd topic that will consume more time.

3rd topic is totally new to many. 4th topic shall support topics 1 n 2.

Theme 4: Generate Learner Profile


  1. Calculate Score for each CLO and the ensuing grade/grade value for CLOs and for the course
  2. Calculate score for each PLO/LOD, GPA and CGPA for the semester and the cumulative GPA/CGPA for each LOD.
  3. Calculate the iGPA n iCGPA. 
  4. Design a framework for generating the spider web for each student beyond the EXCEL tool.

Pls decide on whether equal time shld b given for each topic or to vary according to weightage s follows.
