- Greater use of timed pieces in class for extra exam preparation. This has led to attendance improving in lessons right up until the exam.
- Increased revision classes and catch up sessions outside of lessons (i.e. holiday, IA time, tutorial...) with good attendance and targeting of weaker students and poor attendees. Leading to higher retention in year and to date 100% attendance in A-Level exams.
- Greater use of Google suite (especially for coursework leading to 100% submission and higher grades), more collaborative work for learners and between staff. This has helped learners who have been absent, but have still been able to complete work. Again, evidenced by high retention.

Admissions - Strict adherence to entry requirements.

Returning learners who did not achieve in the previous academic year (particularly those with low attendance rates, poor behaviour and low motivation) need close monitoring so if improvements are not made - conditions of return have not been met.

Three-week test - where learners are identified as being of serious concern at this stage, a rigorous process needs to be in place to ensure these learners are moved onto a more suitable course, or offered other options.

Late starters - post three week mark have on the whole been unsuccessful.
