         <title>Remedial slots are held late, only for a few students and shared across subjects. Students are also not hungry for it and positive effect on results not significant. Like to have more curriculum time to see whole class rather than remedial time.</title>

         <title>Teachers may be out in the afternoons for O/N Level duties etc. Hence, afternoon curriculum hours are affected. If teachers only have 4 periods of lessons and all are afternoon slots, he/she may miss many lessons. He/she may be missing remedial slots too.</title>

There can be 2 sessions per week and teachers can call on those whose are not following in class and use the time to explain the current topic so that they can catch up. They start this early in the year so by Sem 2, students would have already gotten into a 'rhythm' ... and there is no clash of students.<br><br>Also, by starting early in the year, the students/trs have a long runway to prime themselves for the Big E.</div>]]></description>
