I liked this book a lot, I think that the book was very creative on how it brought the imagery and thoughts into real ideas and experiences. I also love how even if its a short read it still can change your view on how you see art. How even if this artist is struggling to bring emotion into her art, she is actually feeling such deep feelings that are hard to take care of alone. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone interested.

adventure fiction- Life of Pi by Yann Martel

Even though I have not finished the book, I already can find myself having a strong desire to the book. It is filled with excellent story telling and just the right amount of emotion in the book. How pi is left alone on a boat with a tiger fighting to survive at sea. It gives a further insight on how hope actually effects us and how sometimes that hope weighs you down. Fighting to survive not only with a tiger and being lost at sea but also fighting with never knowing what will come next. You must always be on your feet for the next move. I would strongly recommend this book to peers and try to find more books like this one.

The perks of Being a Wallflower

The Perks of Being a Wallflower is one of my favorite books so far, it is set in the perspective of a teenage boy that is learning to be in the world around him as he comes of age. He has to face many more things than a regular teenager would and finds trouble finding someone to talk to about his and others troubles. These letters are much more personal than a diary because Charlie is able to talk to someone and have the other person not know who it is, so that Charlie is able to write his heart out with passion. There are so many difficult topics that any human would feel uncomfortable talking about because it is just how our society has made things, that sex should not be talked about, or your comfort zone should be open and not have any clear boundaries. Some people have clear boundaries and society sees those boundaries and oversteps them on purpose. Im glad that I had the chance to read The perks of being a Wallflower because it makes you think about what goes son in the world around you without you noticing it. Things happen everyday and it can make life so complicated without you realizing it.

Alice in Wonderland (Through the Looking Glass)

Alice in Wonderland to me is much like a world in the eyes of a philosopher. ew ideas that are unlike the ideas of the "normal way" of thinking. It varies the path of the norm in society and finds its own path through a new world. I also think that it bases itself in relativity, who is to say that in this world that everyone else is early and you are on time for tea. Either way, it is a book that I would recommend to my friends that would say this way of thinking is stupid because maybe then they would realize how the "normal way" of thinking is just as stupid. There is a thin line to what is reality and what if fiction, it is up to us to decided which is which.
