My son in yr 9 goes to French website for French homework, mymaths  for maths hw and Edmodo for another. He has used edmodo in the past where he access it and can check if it’s all there, dates due etc. in his communication book he occasionally writes it get and excellent comment from his tutor for writing hw once. ????? Ken Livingstonw is an advocate for no homework there is now official findings that hw is beneficial. Let children be childrene and do what Finland does and give homework at exams times. Oh I could go in forever but I won’t. Fortunately my son does his homework as he is conscience and doesn’t want a negative comment.

We only utilise the reading record section which is maybe 10% of the  actual book. All communication tends to be e-mail.
