Often in our country we open presents after we see first star. Usually we eat dinner before we open the presents but it depends on when we start eating. Sometimes Santa hides the presents in the house and we need to look for them. It's very funny!

Here in Greece we decorate a tree. On the Christmas Eve we open our presents in the morning which are under the tree. Later in the noon we have dinner with all of our family and family-known persons who live in Athens.They leave in the night after 10 o'clock. At the centre of Piraeus we decorate a big tree(It's the tree you see in the picture).

Every Christmas in my country, we cook some delicious traditional treats. The ones on the left are called melomakarona and the ones on the right are called kourambiedes. Melomakarona are a kind of cookie dipped in honey syrup and topped with some smashed almonds. Kourambiedes are, also a kind of cookie, but some people add almonds inside them. They are topped with some icing sugar, that's why they're white. Some kids treat Santa with them. Every house in Cyprus has them on their Christmas table.

In Cyprus and Greece we have a cake that is called vasilopita. When we cut that cake someone gets a coin that gives you luck. Sometimes you can decorate it with fake trees santa-claus like the picture. That's all I wish you have a great time at your Christmas holidays bye! 🎅🎄🎁

Hello my Christmas's tradition is to make with my family the Christimas's tree and the creche . Hi! The Christmas's holidays are a very happy time for me and for my family! I love Christmas and I usually decorate my home with a very big tree and some Christmas ornaments that are in every room.
In this period I stay a lot with my cousins and my grandparents and we often play together.
Before this COVID-19 we often plan a trip, but in the last two years, unfortunately, we stay at home.
