The Ugly Duckling taught me that we should never lose hope!

Last term, I failed my math test at school. I hid my paper, afraid of being laughed at. But my teacher found me and said, “Let’s try again!” She helped me every lunch break. Two months later, I got 85/100! I learned that mistakes are like the Ugly Duckling’s feathers – ugly at first, but they’ll shine someday.

I want to be like the Ugly Duckling. Even if others laugh, I’ll keep swimming towards my dreams!

Last term, I failed my PE test at school. I felt very sad, but finally it's normal to have problems. From my own experience, I learn that we can find out who we truly are in the face of difficulties and never give up.

I want to be like the Little koi. I should pay attention to self - improvement and never give up.
