First, in "The Allegory of the cave" it is about someone trapped in a cave and they have no control of what is going to happen to them. This part in the book goes really well with this line from "Crawling", "This lack of self control I fear never ending, Controlling I can't seem To find myself again, My walls are closing in..."
This is a good quote to compare them because they are both talking about being controlled and never being able to find there true self. "These wounds, they will not heal, Fear is how I fall, Confusing what is real..."
