However, I think it has changed. I think people are working toward new things and because of that, we have generally ditched the original idea of the American Dream. This being said, I think that with the ability to do almost anything as a career or job, people are experiencing the American Dream more than ever. I would even go as far to say that majority of the population is actively participating in the American Dream. People are even helping others achieve their dreams. If the modern economy were to match what the economy of the 1940's was than the American Dream would be more attainable.
