To what end?<br><br>Yes, I beive it is important in a professional environment but only to that extant.          <description><![CDATA[<div>I do not think schools and teachers should care as much because for a lot of students, English is not their first language, making it unfair when they're being graded on a scale of "Standard American Language."  All of the students' uniquenesses, including their ways of communication, expression, and interaction, should be valued a lot more often in schools instead of pushing an American narrative.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I don think we should be forcing students to know ¨Standard American English¨. I feel like that is silencing their voice based off of what their background and culture may be. Especially when English is their second language,  they may feel more confident speaking or writing in another language. </div>]]></description>
