What is PDC?
(Professional Development Community)
This is today's motto:)) we have learned what a facilitator is and how we will able to be a good facilitators.
We talked on reflective thinking. And I learned that looking at what, how, why you do it in the classroom. To get to know each other, star activity is simple but excellent so I am looking forward to apply it in my classes.
It was the first time that I met the Action Bound web2 tool as an ice breaker. I enjoyed a lot. I will be able to use it in my PDC meetings as an atractive learning way, but I found it a little difficult for my pupils and it is hard to apply it to my crowded classes. Role Play; Interviewing was a brilliant idea to see your own inflection as a facilitator from the perspective of an interviewer.
Having a chance to practice English by the way of PDC is the most fundemental part of this training. I wait impatiently for applying today's icebreakers in my PDC meetings and also in my classes.

Young Learner's Characteristics.
I enjoyed a lot in the drawing name images. I felt as a child while drawing pictures. Then we tried to guess the letters symbolized with the images. Standing next to the pictures provided us to think about our teaching ways. So I would like to use it in my PDC meetings. We played agree/disagree/unsure game, it looks like true/false activity. I can adapt this activity to every level. İt is flexible and useful.
After this activity, I have learnt the onion ring game; ıt was related with the previous activity and we could adapt ourselves easily. I like these progressions between the activities, there is no disangagement.
Today's benefit for me is that there should be progressions between activities so my participants or students don't feel bored and they will be able to focus with ease, thanks for my majors; Swany and Burcu.

I like taking part in warm ups even if I am a teacher. I feel refreshed. We made a questionaire with 8 people, we asked their names and common things about them in a race athmosphere, who finishes first wins. I can use it in my all grades and of course PDC meetings.
Today's subject is about dialogues in the coursebooks. So how a good dialogue must be and what kind of points the teachers must pay attention to. Evaluating dialogues by using a check list was the part that I didn't mind before. But I gained awareness.
While we were creating an ideal dialogue, I had a good time so we had experience about it.
I have learnt to be able to understand the children's speaking fear. We discussed the reasons and solutions about that. I have learned lots of various and different solution ways from my collegues. I feel excited to use these ways to apply in my classes. At the same time I adapt this topic to my PDC meetings so my participants and I can find new ways by sharing.
            Sharing is caring :))

Reading Time, Yuppieee.
https://lingojam.com/FancyTextGenerator
this link will be my blockbuster in my reading lessons.
I loved Binglish reading. It is amazing and joyful. This is the way to encourage children to enjoy reading. The text is like a reflection on the mirror. It is hard to read but can be adapted in a fun way that in pairs one tried to read the text and other circled the mistakes in the original text. Then we swaped.
I m starting to tell the most perfect part of the day; Shared Reading. Our Lovely teacher Swany read us a story book. She made us sat on a rug as a child/student. And She showed an ideal story telling process. Then we practiced in pairs. I m eager to do that activity not only in my PDC meetings but also in my classes. Maybe I can simplify the after activities like uncomplicated questions to be able to use it with my young learners. I am really exhausted but I feel happy and equipped. Thank you English Together family and my lovely teachers.

I can do a lot of changes while adapting.
Onion Ring: I think it is a perfect game for speaking sessions. It force us to speak. I can play it with my pupils but in only asking- answering style.
Running Dictations: I enjoyed a lot. Let me tell:))
In pair, one writes what the other run towards the walls that the papers were stuck on and back tries to dictate the sentence to his/her pair. Then they routate.
I can simplifier as short sentences or long words for my pupils.
We disgussed the assessments and chategorized them with a Web2 tool.
