He learned how to build forts, draw maps, lead people through enemy country, and fight the Indians. We would need someone who could make the maps to take back. We would also need a strong leader and someone who knew how to fight in case of battle. 


  He over six feet tall and had a strong and muscular frame. This made him look strong and more intimidating. Also the only major exception to his health was a digestive ailment that he suffered.

     Francois LaBiche would make a good member of the corps because he knew several lower Missouri languages which could help us when we are encountering Natives that speak different languages. Since LaBiche knew how to speak multiple languages he could help us set up relationships with the indians which is what he did. His language variety could also help us when trading. He also knew English and French. Also, LaBiche knew how to drive a boat which could help us when sailing down the rivers. 
     
     LaBiche was also a very strong man so he could help load things like food and water. His strength could also help us move things that are in our way like rocks and fallen trees. LaBiche was also a friendly man. He created peace with the Skiri Pawnees

Also because of her Shoshone heritage, Sacagawea could help trade for horses when the Corps reached the western mountains. She could also speak different languages which would help with communicating with the Natives. Also she could  dig for roots, collect edible plants and pick berries for food and sometimes as medicine.

 When she was recruited they did not know but she also saved their journals. On May 14, 1805, the boat Sacagawea was riding in nearly capsized. She recovered many of the important papers and supplies that would otherwise have been lost. Also since she was a woman and traveling with a baby tribes knew they were not traveling for war.

They lived in tepees made of hunted buffalo. On August 13, some Shoshone women gathering food saw the corps of discovery.The women saw that the men were friendly after Lewis laid down his gun, gave them trinkets and painted their faces with vermilion, a symbol of peace. The principle chief welcomed Lewis and his men, and from that point the Shoshones treated them as guests. Lewis and his men were the first white people the Shoshones had ever seen. They confirmed that there was no all-water route to the Pacific Ocean. Sacagawea, who was raised as a Shoshone but had been kidnapped years earlier by Hidatsas, recognized Cameahwait as her brother. After an emotional reunion, Cameahwait agreed to sell the Corps the horses they needed.

He is brown and has a mane. The buffalo also has a long tail and some amazing fur that we could use to create blankets, jackets and a ton more stuff. His fur could be worth a lot! It has a huge mountain and tons of Pine Trees surrounding it and it is in the Northwest region of the US. Many people have moved there overtime and there is also a city about 15 minutes Northwest. There is also a small town right next to the campsite.

It is right on the pacific ocean an is in a huge inlet of the ocean. There cliffs all around the area and it is also in the Northwest region of the U.S. This was also the very first place where Lewis and Clark saw the Pacific Ocean. Many people have moved here and it has become so popular that they started building an actual town with tons of harbors where tons of people can sail in and stay for a while.
