The Native Americans, Youth groups, farmers, and celebrities are all protesting this pipeline. Many people are using social media to fight with these Native Americans. Social media has had protests with these Native Americans, actress Shailene Woodley went and protested with them. This is good because awareness has spread and more people can know about the pipeline. These protests and construction sites are starting on Standing Rock Sioux Tribe's Reservation, North Dakota.

In my opinion I think the Dakota Pipeline isn't a good idea. I think it has its pros and its cons just like anything. But I think the cons are important things to take into perspective and I don't think anyone has. I think the pipeline harms the Native Americans way of life. I feel it harms their reservations. Which they have already pushed so far from where they began. This ruins their prayer sites and sacred grounds.

The Obama Administration was looking out for the Native Americans and the Farmers side. They knew the land was there and didn't want to bother the Native Americans or farmers land. The Obama Administration stopped the construction on the Dakota Pipeline Access on the disputed land. The Trump Administration did as expected and support the pipeline, they are looking at the money side of things and how it will benefit. The advocacy groups also say that it will free up transportation on railways and highways for crops.
