  •  1.The slaves fought for their lives with each other with all kinds of weaponds: nets, ties, shields, daggers...
  • 2. Althought not many know it, there were gladiators. It is an evid 
  • 3. Gladiators were not free men who fought for preasure. They were slaves whoy were brought to Ancient Rome for all parts of then know world. They were very strong men, so instead of being used for forced labors in mine and crops, they were used for showmanship.
  • 4. In Ancient Rome there were gladiator schools Whealty men in the gladiatorial businesswere called lanistas. As time went by, the show became more and more popular, both among the upper classes and the general public 
  • 5. The way that gladiators had fought greatly influenced how they were buried. If the gladiator had put on a great show, the relatives had the right to take his body and perform whatever funeral rites they considered.On the other hand, if he showed cowardice, he was buried in a mass grave.
