         <description><![CDATA[<div>Time/pacing is always a concern, especially if I am going to leave enough time for guided reading, conventions, and social studies.  This cycle, each of the lessons introducing routines requires at least two days to really get through and give students adequate time to practice, make mistakes, practice again before they really understand and are ready to follow the routines on their own without lots of prompting.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Sometimes I feel that there is not enough time for addressing writing prompts in the CIM. Last year, we ended up taking an extra day to complete the writing prompt for each cycle. (Planning, writing and revising). </div>]]></description>
