2. A man's $42,000 Land Rover SUV was taken away after he plead guilty to selling $225 worth of heroin to police officers who were undercover. It was considered a "civil forfeiture" action.
3. It relates to the 8th Amendment, as a judge believed it was considered an "excessive fine" due to the fact that the vehicle was worth over four times greater than the maximum fine.
4. (Abbey) I agree the forfeiture of the Land Rover is a form of an excessive fine, as the fine the man had to pay was not nearly as much as the car, so it's unjust for them to make him pay for the fine with his car that's worth over four times the amount of the fine.

2. The article basically says the amount of shootings could be reduced by focusing on not people but the guns. It is said that shootings all involve guns. It also talks about how it has been proven that people with mental health issues are more likely to be shooters but that isn't a problem, it's the guns fault basically.
3. This article relates to the amendment by fighting against it. Amendment 2 is the right to bear arms but this article is saying that we need to get rid of guns in order to reduce mass shootings.
4. Our opinion on the article is that it is not a good statement to say that it is the "guns fault" for all of the shootings produced. We believe that it is the people behind it that have mental issues that make them do these things. We do believe that guns are to easy to get but we think there should be a system and background check in order to purchase a gun.
5.
