But did see a seal right next to the casino on the Broomielaw whilst I was on my lunch break about 10 years ago. Was so excited I had to tell whoever was around - which happened to be some bloke who was rather worse for wear. That said, he still had a look with me, saw the seal, but I think he might have put it down to how much he'd had to drink by then!!

I had seen one previously (at first I thought it was someone drowning) but this time I managed to capture a rubbish video clip. It could be anywhere but I panned out to show the environs. Before this, I didn't know they existed in fresh water.

Initially thought it was an otter, then realised it was definitely a seal. Have seen them on numerous occasions further down river near Portland street footbridge, but thought it was unusual to have seen one beyond the weir.

However this morning about 9am I saw one basking on the rocks near the bridge at Cumningagr Loop and got some video footage. I cycled back along the clydeside about 2.30 and he/she was still there (or was it another one in the same place).
