One of the many causes of poverty in the Philippines, is the lack of proper primary education. Uneducated people marry very early in life and have so many kids that they are unable to sustain them. Another is the lack of good jobs or job growth. You don't get a decent salary because you don't have a good job. Traditional occupations like farming are declining in many countries, just like the Philippines.

Poverty and education are relate to each other because those children living poverty may stop going to school so they can work to help their parents. There are many reasons why lots of children do not go to school. This will definitely affect their growth. More than 72 million children are uneducated because of the poverty. At this time we are facing inequality between girls and boys. Girls have the least access to education.
