I really enjoyed learning about the different certificates that are available to us as future trainers. Leaning about this today helps shape my future plans and gives me an idea of where to go after I have completely decided on my next step in life. If I had to get certified today it would be through ACSM because I want to be trained to be the best of my ability and be able to compete with others on my field.

I also learned which certification I will need to take before I graduate to be able to continue in my career. It was also very helpful to know which organizations were non-profit and for-profit and how much each certification will cost so that I can plan in advance for when I will eventually need to take it.

Dr. Riemann ability to explain complex information about human body movement allows me to understand why certain injuries happen in sports or any physical activity. I’m taking his biomechanics course currently and I recommend his lectures. He uses relatable visuals and real life applications to kinetics and kinematics that may be a little harder to understand by just reading the book.
