The book starts out in a milkbar  where the milk is spiked with 🤬. The main character is named Alex, he runs around with his gang. They leave the milk bar and beat up a old man for having books, then they get in a car and fly down country roads really fast. They come to a drive way with HOME on a sign out front, they go in. They rape and beat the couple in the house. Then they head back to the milk bar. Alex goes home to sleep. His mom wakes him up around 8 saying he’s going to be late for school, he tells her that he’s not feeling well and goes back to bed. When he wakes up there is a man in his house and he warns him about the path he’s on. Alex then eats breakfast, and gets dressed. He heads to the music store to get Beethoven, he meets two ten year old girls. He takes the girls out to eat then to his house and he does the in and out with them. This book is very graphic. 
Where did Alex’s schooling go wrong to make him think it’s ok to act this way?

Clockwork Orange kicks of in a milk bar which we find out they the milk is laced with some type of drug. We came to the conclusion that every time they head out they have to go get there high from the milk in order to help commit the crimes. So it’s like they do about 2 big crimes then back to the bar. The book starts off in a milk bar that sells spiked milk, and Alex and his friends start there nights off in there and usually hangout there. They spend most of there time fighting and harassing females and sexually assaulting them with horrible actions. They have no remorse for what they do and even make a husband watch as they sexually assault her. Alex is the leader and loves music, but music makes him even more angry and want to fight and do anything bad.

The group then heads to a cat lady’s house and Alex tries to get her to open the door but she won’t. Alex then goes through a window and beats her up. A siren starts to sound and Alex runs to the door. When he opens it Dim hits him on the head and runs away. The authorities take Alex to jail. Alex is sentenced to 14 years in the state jail. Once he is in for two years he hears about a new thing that keeps u out of prison forever. He is very close with the preacher, cause he reads the Bible a lot. When he and his cell mates 🤬 a new guy they are brought outside and Alex is chosen for the new project by the governor.
Why is Alex only sentenced for 14 years? After all the horrible things he’s done?
Do you think he’s somewhat fond of being in prison? He likes reading the Bible and listening to his music he describes that in a good way?

Alex is tormented in his dreams by his friends and wakes up with his heart racing. He is very distressed by this and decides not to go to school. His parole officer stops by to talk to Alex since he knows he is not at school. He warns Alex about his next offense will land him time in the Barry. Alex doesn’t listen and leaves his house and finds two young girls and decides to teach them a lesson for not going to school. He takes them out to eat then back to his house where he gets them drunk and then abuses them before they leave. What does Alex’s dream mean?

They put him in a nice room with a bed and feed him and he likes it a lot. They tell him is has malnutrition from prison so they give him shots each day. At first he doesn’t think anything about the shots. They start making Alex watch these terrible horror films. Alex feels sick when he watches these. He tries and rationalize the sick feeling at first by saying it was the food or the wires making him feel that way. But he soon realizes it’s the shot. During one of the films his favorite music is playing and he begs the doctors to stop because he shouldn’t feel this way when he hears good music. But they tell him it’s just part of it. He hates this, he even thinks that waiting fourteen years would have been better. The films finally come to a end and they bring him to this room full of people and put him through two test to see if he’s cured. The first one is a man who is rude to him, shoving him and other things. Alex ends up licking his boot. The next one is a beautiful woman that Alex must respect. The doctor then says he will be a true Christian and that he is cured and everything. 
Why do the doctors not just take the music out of the films?

The hospital doctors gave him shots in his rooker  that made him feel sick whenever he thought of violence. Every time he thought of violence he would have pain, dryness of the mouth, and feel like he was going to sick up. So Dr. Brodsky had a show and tell for the high power.  And Dr. Brodsky add shut off at work by having a man tease him in as he did he made Alex feel sick. But after this he said he would be able to go home.

He then meets with his droogs and they have a “blade” fight and of course Alex wins. Later that night following Georgie’s plan they go to Manse and try to rob it, but the old lady refuses to let Alex in. Then Dim helps him through one of the windows and Alex is planning on raping her and robbing her before letting the other droogs in, but fails because he slipped on a milk saucer and the lady beat him with her cane. Then he heard sirens and knocked her unconscious and ended with Alex getting teased by cops and then arrested. Later at the station Alex kicks a cop and the cops beat him until he vomits ( which I could’ve lived without knowing that -mostly because cops shouldn’t be beating people up before they have a chance to explain themselves). Then they force him to make a statement confessing his crimes, but of course Alex doesn’t leave the droogs out of his statement.

He is very happy to get to go see his mom and dad. When he walks in he finds out there is a man in his forties living with them. Alex is very mad at his parents but can’t do anything about it beachside he will get sick. His mom and dad end up telling him he can’t stay. So Alex leaves and goes to a music store but can’t listen cause he gets sick to it. Then he goes to a book store and meets a old guy that he beat up once. The old guy and his friends beat up Alex before they are stopped by some cops. Turns out dim is a cop and so is one of Alex’s old enemies. They take Alex and beat him up as well. It’s been a ruff day for Alex.

Alexander realized who Alex was but the people take him and lock him in a room playing music. Alex jumps out of the window and was hurt badly. He woke up in a hospital and the president of sorts came in and started talking to Alex about how they are friends. He gave Alex a job earning good money. Then it starts in the milk at again with Alex and some new droogs. They go off and beat up a guy then go to another bar. Alex feels weird, empty of sorts. He leaves his droogs and sees and talks to Pete and realizes he wants a family. He is growing up.

Alex makes it home and found out that his parent sold all his stuff and a person named joe had moved in to his room. This up set him and he left. Then he went to the biblio and the older man he mugged was in there. So, the old man and other older men beat him and the cop picked him up.  The two cops were dim his old droog and billyboy his old enemy. Then they beat him and sent him out in the country. He found a place with a sign out front “HOME.” He goes in and the man treats him well and gives him food and a bed to sleep in. The man was going to use him to overthrow the government and its plan to vaccinate all the criminals with the same stuff in Alex. The man then puts him in a room and start to play the music that makes alex’ symptoms act up and Alex then jumps out of a window to “snuff it”, because be can’t bare the sickness any more. The drop was not long enough the 🤬 Alex. He wakes up in the hospital and the minister is there to tell him what all went down and that the government has stopped with the vaccinations. Later on Alex then learns that he is growing ups and desires something more than a criminal life he wants to move on and start a new life with a job and family. THE END

While in jail Alex injected with a drug to make him get sick at the thought of violence. They force him to watch violent videos so that this drug takes effect in his system. After being let out of jail Alex sees his parents, but they tell him he can't stay with them any longer. He then ventures to the music store but can't listen to the music because it is violent and violence makes him sick.
