Grandmother(Age92): "I grew up in farm-country in Minnesota. We had no technology in the classroom or anywhere really...we had no car for most of my childhood."

Father(Age 64): "There wasn't much technology when I was in school. Our high school had a rotary phone at the front office and some phones in classrooms, but we had no computers or technology within our classroom. It wasn't until I went to the Army that I was exposed to technology with learning."

Cousin(Age 13): "In high school we use computers, phones and tablets. I have my own computer and phone that I use"

When you were in school, what was your favorite technology to use?

Grandmother(Age 92): "We had no technology but I would have enjoyed using my desktop."

Father(Age 64): "The only time I used technology is when I had to call your grandmother on the school phone, but once I was in college I enjoyed learning about computer systems."

Cousin(Age 13): "My phone for sure. I like Kahoot and activities on our phones like that."

Grandmother(Age 92): " I wish I could have enjoyed my desktop in school. Everything by written by hand or type-writer and I love writing on my desktop."

Father(Age 64): "The cell phone for sure, you have the power in your pocket to answer any question in a matter of minutes."

Cousin(age 13): "I wish we had a sick 3D printer, we have a old broken one right now but it would be cool to get a high-tech 3D printer in our studio at school."

What technology did teachers use to communicate when you were in school?

Grandmother(Age 92): "Our teacher used to write letters or talk to our parents at church."

Father(Age 64): "Our teachers would either write letters or use the phone to call...you did not want the phone call."

Cousin(Age 13): "My teacher will email and text my parents, but we use google classroom and google chat to communicate."

What are your opinions about having technology in the classroom?

Grandmother(Age 92): "Im not too sure what technology is used today. I am sure that the kids use computers and I think that is probably good."

Father(Age 64): "I think technology is an advantage to have in the classroom. Technology is power but it is important we make sure kids are using it the proper way."

Cousin(Age 13): "Technology is used all the time in our classes, we need our computers to do our work. I like working on my computer and think it is fine."
