Thanks to code breaking the U.S was able to intercept one of Japan's messages and counter their plan a ambush for Japan. A turning point for the Allies allowed them to move their troops into an offensive position.

Russian soldiers were exhausted after fighting against the Nazis and referred back to inappropriate behavior. The amount of rape that was taken place was incredibly disturbing. In fact Stalin even allowed his men to rape the enemy, he said it was a way to psychologically destroy them.
