His father was very angry because Ellie had lied about the party with his friends and told him that she couldn't go to the art festival.
Ellie went to her room very angry.  She tried to call Cassie, but She hadn't no credit left. Liz called Elie to eat, but she didn't want to leave her room, so after a few minutes, Liz brought a sandwich to her room with a magazine about Murphy(Elie's favorite singer.)but Ellie was still very angry because he couldn't see he live, and she pick up the magazine and  the photo of her Dad´s wedding falls to the floor, Liz picked up the pieces of broken glass and left the room very sad .
Then Ellie took the magazine and saw an article that made her feel very excited, because the article said that they  were going to do a contest to meet Murphy, she only had to send a tape singing her favorite Murphy song.
Elie forgot about the discussion with her dad and liz, and she chose a romantic song to sing , she  record and send it.

This morning Liz says "I heard you singing last night and ask Elie Did you finish the tape for the competition. Just then Elie´s dad come back to the kitchen and Liz stop talking with Elie for a moment Elie´s dad says "the Windows need Cleaning and then I want you to clean the shelves” Elie answered sure after that when his dad has gone Elie say "Thank you liz and sorry for breaking the photo" Liz answered "Don't worry about it".
Then Elie remember when she met Murphy and how to made dad's bad temper easier to live with too 
The first day of the Elie´s exam she hasent´s time to think about the competition after the exmans return to the competition the magazine said that they were going to contact the winner so Elie had to wait for the answer but 30 minutes after she started to worry until the 5 o'clock so she thinks her dream is over. We think that in the future Elie will be chosen to meet Murphy, and may fulfill a great dream but the news will come a little late.
