In imperialism lot of people where discrimine because of their color of skin and social balance. There was slavery and the people had the minimum salary, it was labor exploitation. The empires robbed the natural resources. 

The Romaine Empire: This empire believed that there kings were elected by god. There was a lot of injustice and mistreatment to the people of the town. 

Aztec Empire: This empire was one of the most advanced empires in the time. It had gods from their religion that protected them. They were very grateful with the Pachamama. In this sense imperialism is not a form of government of a state headed by an emperor.

One example is the Spanish imperialism in the colonial era. It emerged in 1402 and it was characterized by the successes of exploratory maritime voyages conducted during the Age of Discovery, such as those undertaken by Cristobal Colón. Spain committed considerable financial and military resources towards developing a robust navy capable of conducting large-scale, transatlantic expeditionary operations in order to establish and solidify a firm imperial presence across large portions of North America, South America and the Caribbean. In some way, this is how our continent was discovered.
