You learn some anatomy, statistics, biology and more. I was able to apply what I learned in this class to a lot of other classes I was taking and even now in college. Beyond that, Ms. Puente is the best person you could have to teach this course. Though I cannot vouch for how classes are being taught online, I have immense confidence that Ms. Puente was able to transfer the excitement and fun of learning in person, into an online environment. The concepts and perspectives I learned from AP Psych allowed me learn beyond the realm of academia and grow as an individual. I went into the class knowing the basics and ended up leaving the class even more passionate about psychology. I am currently graduating from Cal Poly Pomona with a degree in psychology, and this class definitely prepared me for my psychology college courses. Even if you're not planning on studying psychology in college, this class is still so interesting and super applicable to day to day situations. You'll have a lot of fun working with your friends in class on the projects and getting to learn more about people and how we think. I am a current student and I truly enjoy both the content and learning style of the class. Ms. Puente is an AMAZING teacher and makes learning the material super easy, meaning that you'll be well prepared for any tests and the AP exam. Moreover, the content is simple to digest and although there may be quite a bit of vocabulary, it is super simple to learn and recall.
