1) A Lesson Before Dying:
This work of literature was a sensation that provoked anger and sadness in me, like Jefferson's godmother Miss Emma. It gave me a feeling of purpose and determination, like Grant's aunt Lou. It also made me feel like Grant confident of hope with a chance to change and reshape things. The story helped me develop determination to help people no matter what the situation is. I understanding what can happen in life and I have grown to be cautious because of the story.

2) Speech To The Young:
This poem gave me purpose to reshape thing." The down-keepers, sun-slappers, self-spoilers, and harmony- hushers," delivered a firm and helpful message of determination. Don't let no one hold you back from what you feel you need to do to succeed. Keep your eyes on the prize and stay away from negative people. "A change is coming," gave me the feeling of confidence and complacency.

3) House on Mango Street:
Esperanza grew and developed though the years. It shows she begins to express herself about what she needed and wanted out of life. From reading the novel made me think about of all the opportunities I have in my life. It showed me that we all have many positive and negative paths on the way to success. She had a purpose and so do, to succeed. From this novel I gained confidence and courage to do the thing that I was afraid to fail in. It's empowering like in the main idea.

Thomas Build-the-fire helped Victor change his ways of thinking. It made me think of the time when I would not change. I was set in my ways. Then my wife came along , she helped me change my ways, like Thomas helped Victor. Then I developed confidence and determination to reshape thing in my life.

5) Girl:
The reading of this literature expressed mainly the expectation of women in society. How the older women see younger girls as they develop into women. In "Girl," the mother was determined to teach the young lady the right thing to do by force. It made me think of when I was young, my father made me do the right things by force. As I developed into a man, the things he forced me to do. Gave me strength , confidence and courage to deal with the world. Today, I thank my father for the things he forced me to learn. It helped in the times, I needed to reshape things in my life.

6) Fences:
Reading this play made me think in a major way. How Troy stopped Cory from achieving his football career, because of his attitude. I feel real sense occurs, when a person's attitude and mentality changes. It sent me back to my thoughts of some people never change in works four. Troy's was very cruel because of his past, so his mind was set and couldn't be changed under any circumstances. I was almost caught in the same web, but like I said before my wife reshaped things in my life. I felt like Lyon, "You can't change me." Now, I'm a man with more perspective, purpose, confidence and determination. In other words failure is not a option for me, no one can stop me now.

7) Barn Burning :
This work of literature ,to me was about courage and determination. Sartoris finally stood up for what he believed in. He gained courage and did what he thought was right. I felt he reshaped thing in his life, by having the confidence to stand up for himself. I felt like Sartoris at one time, when I had to make the right decision. Doing the right thing made me feel confident. I gained a different perspective on life and was determined to reshape thing as well, like the main idea

8) Rite of Passage :
Reading this poem, for me appears to be one that jabs at the assumptive role a man plays, when he is in the presence of other men. The boys here are learning at a young age, that they should fill the role of manhood early . So they will not lose recognition of themselves or their place in society. In the poem I can see the metaphoric imagery placed to favor the approach to manhood. It hits the main idea in the kisser

It had a staggering focus on history, when the world was full of adversity and disaster. The novel made me feel anger and sadness, about what happened in the past generation.

I chose this banner, because it's the climax of all the points in my padlet. I feel courage is a necessity for determination to overcome your fears and achieve a desired goal. It's something that exists in all of us. To achieve confidence required to be courageous, one simply has to look past or overcome their fears to possess this great quality. When you overcome the purpose and go against the norm. Your going to feel a new perspective, as you advance in the reshape of things in your life. As expressed in the main idea.
