In essence my notes contain the different elements of the movie I observed. This movie has a lot of twist and turns but is basically about a narrative which is playing in a old man’s head. The two main characters, Jack and Lucy are going to visit Jack’s parents at their house. Upon reaching there the concept of time seems to start shifting, jumping timelines with the characters aging or getting younger scene by scene. The idea of time getting more twisted as the old man’s narrative starts to get blurry due to the fact that he was suffering from hypothermia which is the last scene of this movie. Throughout this analysis I also noted all the special elements which stood out to me throughout the movie i.e. : patterns, lighting, furniture, colors, mood. 

I also combined all of the different settings and made a small compilation of them. I also wanted to show the different contrast between the warm vs cool lighting depending on the environment and which characters are present. 

I did the same with the different patterns throughout the movie. I noticed this movie had a very constant repetition of certain patterns. I found that the way the patterns were all included and the way the different combinations of the patterns were very interesting.
