The theme is dramatic

-How does Mussorgsky represent the visual artwork shown through his music? He uses dynamics and tempo to have the listener visualize the piece.

piano and mezzo-piano

yes it gradually get louder and at times it also gradually gets softer.

 -Does that change throughout the piece?
I believe its a minor but it does change back and forth throughout the piece. 

 Melody
-Does the melody have a wide or narrow range? I think it has a wide range.
 -Is it mostly Conjunct (stepwise) or Disjunct (jumps around)? Disjunct because the dynamics change throughout the piece.

 Rhythm
-What is the meter (time signature) of the piece?
 -Does that change or stay the same?  
The time signature is 6/8 and it doesn't change.
 Growth
-How could you describe the piece from start to finish  (ABA, Verse/Chorus, etc)?

The mood of the piece is calm and what informs my interpretation is the colors the artist used and it just gives me a calm vibe.
