  • Click on Make a Padlet
  • Select CANVAS
    • CREATE:
    You will see some default decisions are already in place.  On the top left of the screen you will see your name and some ethereal title and description.  On the top right you will see:  Close Modify Next.  Under that, find the following:

    1. Title:  Give your Padlet a new name:  
    2. Description:  Describe your Padlet (you can leave the default if you like it!)   
    3. Wallpaper:  You can choose your wallpaper or leave at default (you can change this later)
    4. Scroll down to see:
    5. Attribution -- turn on
    6. Profanity filter --  turn on
    7. Comments -- turn on
    8. Reactions -- turn on
    Next:  Now look back on the top right and click on Next.  (Later you can go back and make some changes to your wallpaper, title, etc.  Later I’ll tell you how to do that.)

    1. Click on Password Protected
    2. Password -- use the 1st word of your title, but use all lower case (If you’re going to change the title, make sure your password is the same as the new title.)
    3. Those with access . . . click on the small triangle on the right.  Choose: can write, so others can make comments.  
    4. Click on NEXT at the top of your screen
    5. Now you can begin posting.  Click on plus sign at bottom right of your Padlet to start a topic.

    To change Privacy settings:
    1. Click on SHARE at the top right of your screen (PEOPLE & PRIVACY comes up automatically)
    2. Make changes as desired
    3. Click on SAVE to save your changes

    To Share:
    1. Click on SHARE/EXPORT/EMBED 
    2. Click on EMAIL
    3. Type in email address:  patricia.a.morrow@jamestownpublicschools.org
    Alternate way to share:
    1.  Click on COPY LINK TO THIS PADLET
    2. Paste into an email to me or paste onto a Google Doc and share with me
