1.1 When preparing the animal for training I made sure that they had appropriate water and that they were fed in the morning. I was not worried about the evening feed because I was tasked to feed them after training. I would have also allowed them to come to me first before training to let them investigate me so that they would be calm when I entered their enclosure I would do this by letting them smell me and see me before I entered their enclosure. I did not give eye contact and let them come to me over the gate this ensures that they are calm when they see me and relaxed in the session. This also ensures my safety as well. Finally, I would would try different foods to see the best outcome. This was over the fence to again ensure the safety of the animal and of myself

1.2 when starting training I decided to stay in their enclosure so that they can be comfortable and walk around as much as they like. I also wanted to make sure that they had some more familiar to go if they were feeling overwhelmed or overstimulated. For equipment I used a bucket of pygmy goat feed because that gave the best results with only a scoop of pygmy goat mix. I brought in the halter later on in training just because I wanted them to get them used to myself and the bucket and finally for personnel, it was just myself because again I wanted to get them to trust me and not have anyone else overwhelming them.
